Figuring out a decent Rear fender profile that dosent look like it’s off a trailer. Eventually will need to come to grips with how the turbos fit with the hood
The problems of using a tiny sketchpad rear their ugly head
As it sits, with the huge transmission tunnel

I’ve always thought it would be cool to build one. I have the book at home, but it’s not a high priority right now. Maybe one day. In the mean time I can live vicariously. And frankly I love the fact that you’re going overkill on the powertrain!

The front looks a lot like a Caterham, which is a very good thing. I think the rear actually looks better than the Caterham though, so good work. (don’t get me wrong, still a good original design)

Original-ish
D onkervoort seems to know what their doing. Also they are the same width of 6ft that I'm planning rather then caterham 5' 5". The profile with a cover on that caterham is drool worthy

There’s only so many ways you can make an aluminum bodied track car of that style. I like the way you handled the rear end.

J ust out of curiosity- how much does that 1UZ weigh? Do you have the tools to weigh it. Hard to find accurate weights online for such things.

No accurate weigh tools, what I dug up on Lextreme was 432lbs for everything minus the ac unit

That’ s not bad for an engine that’s a little shorter in length than an LS engine and one that sounds pretty good too.

A 1UZ in a Lotus Seven sized frame? One touch of the pedal and you’ll go to warp speed in milliseconds.
I’m going to have to confiscate your warp technology.
